A US Air Force veteran, Jim started his career in computer operations and systems analysis then transitioned to team leadership roles in post sales support and professional services for several early stage hardware and software companies. In the mid 90's Jim stepped into the sales game as a pre-sales engineer, setting the stage for the next move in his career.
Jim was recruited by the Founder and Managing Partner of BridgeGate in late 1995 to build a practice recruiting and placing Systems Engineers. His practice quickly expanded to include Sales, Professional Services, Marketing, Product Management/Marketing, and Customer Satisfaction from VP through individual contributor. In less than two years Jim successfully completed his first CEO search in 1997. Jim was a perennial Club Attainment recipient including a personal one month record of placements and revenue that stood throughout his BridgeGate tenure. At its height the practice grew to a team of 4 generating a significant line of business.
In 2008 Jim founded NexxtMove, Inc. Operating as a sole proprietor and occasionally joining forces with previous peers and new partners, Jim remains committed to his core values of integrity, professionalism, and timely execution.
